Christi Boyd, PC(USA) mission coworker and facilitator for women’s and children’s interests in Congo, Niger, Rwanda, Madagascar and South Sudan, recently sent this video, which she prepared for a 2013 gathering of Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of Western North Carolina to highlight PW's impact in Central Africa.
Christi and her husband, Jeff, returned to Democratic Republic of Congo this year after 14 years in Cameroon. Jeff continues in his role as regional liaison for PC(USA) World Mission, acting as representative for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in conversations with church partners in Congo, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. As regional liaison, Jeff also serves as resource for church partners' Presbyterian counterparts in the United States, as supervisor and pastoral care provider for mission coworkers, and as collaborator with colleagues at the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) center in Louisville, Kentucky. In light of her new role, Christi particularly welcomes Presbyterian Women circles to be part of the Boyds' mission support team!
